I have been a practicing psychotherapist and counsellor for 18 years in a wide range of therapeutic settings.

I am accredited with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy)

Before setting up a private practice, I gained experience working in counselling clinics, psychiatric hospitals and drug & alcohol services in London and Sussex.

I hold a post-graduate diploma in Integrative / Transpersonal Psychotherapy .

I am also a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing) Psychotherapist:  This is the trauma treatment recommended by  the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE).

As a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, I abide by their ethical framework.   I am fully insured and have regular supervision to ensure my work is of the highest standard.

Prior to my therapeutic work I worked in television and for an international children’s charity.
